Organic Tarhana Soup Recipe for Babies
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon Orgibite Organic Baby Tarhana
- 1 cup water or vegetable juice suitable for your baby's age
- 1 teaspoon olive oil (optional)
- Optional 1 teaspoon yogurt (after 6 months)
Preparation:
- Soak the tarhana: Put 1 cup of water or vegetable broth in a small saucepan. Add 1 tablespoon of tarhana and let it soak for a few minutes to soften the tarhana.
- Cook the Soup: Put the pot on the stove and cook the mixture over medium heat while stirring. After the soup starts to boil, turn the heat down to low and cook for 5-10 minutes until thickened. If the soup is too thick, you can add a little more water or vegetable broth.
- Add Olive Oil: After the soup is cooked, add 1 teaspoon of olive oil and stir. This adds extra healthy fats to the soup, making it more nutritious.
- Sweeten with Yogurt (Optional): After the soup has warmed, you can add 1 teaspoon of yogurt and stir. This enhances the flavor of the soup while providing your baby with beneficial probiotics.
- Serve: Once you are sure the soup is at the right temperature for your baby, it is ready to serve.
